First of all, judging by your tone, I sincerely doubt that you ever had intention of becoming a regular visitor to this blog (which makes your misphrased threat, or sarcasm, meaningless). Second, I really wish that, instead of posting such an off-putting remark, that you had taken the opportunity to briefly explain the advantage of organic produce. I happen to agree with you btw, but that brings me to point three: as an avid home cook, I am far more interested in helping people cook successfully at home. I consider it a huge win when someone chooses to make homemade soup rather than going out for fast food at dinner time. My blog is not – nor does it claim to be – an organic ingredient blog, precisely because I don’t want to create yet another barrier to success for budding home cooks. I’m 100% certain that there are nifty organic recipe blogs out there for you to follow. And I sincerely hope that, if they should happen to not meet your exacting standards either, that you have enough self-control to resist leaving a rude drive-by comment on their blogs. Please take your frustrations out on the companies manufacturing the pesticides, not the average person who’s just trying to get dinner on the table.
