Hi Lynn, so sorry about the oversights in the listing. I’ve updated the recipe above. The chopped ginger is added with the flour and the other dry ingredients, and it’s 1 teaspoon of vanilla. I hope you enjoy the bread!

Amazing cake but I have changed oil to coconut oil instead and sour cream or yogurt instead of buttermilk !!
I also use WW flour always !
I have made now 12 always gone right away ! Thank you so much for a wonderful orange marmalade bread cake only one I make now!!!

Add the vanilla and ginger to the wet batter, and it will be fine.

Where and when do you add the ginger? And in the instructions you mention vanilla, but the ingredient list doesn’t show an amount for vanilla? So now I’m a bit stumped. I’m guessing I add the ginger in at step 2. Vanilla? I’m going to look up other recipes for orange marmalade bread to see what they say. Wish me luck!
