We had family trickling into town the day before Easter, and I made this soup with a big pot of buttered rice on the stove for people to dig into as they arrived. It was a huge hit, so many asked for the recipe 😉

Hi Karen, I’m the same way this time of year – gimme all the rice dishes! I loved your chicken bog, so had to try your version of red beans and rice, which I haven’t had in years. We went heavy on the Franks hot sauce because that’s how we roll. It was so good. Especially with the surprise snowfall we had!
